The MAC (Metropolitan Arts Centre), Belfast's brand new arts venue. We're selecting, creating and mixing up music, theatre, dance and art - bringing you the very best of local and international talent under one roof.

World-class venue in Belfast's Cathedral Quarter is home to all kinds of exhibitions, theatre performances, experimental works and endless goings-on. The MAC is somewhere with something for all ages and interests. That's why we're jam-packed with diverse and extraordinary things to see and do.

In April 2016, the MAC celebrated its 4th birthday. Since opening in 2012, it has welcomed 1.1 million visitors, hosted more than 3,000 live performances, 25 visual art exhibitions and hundreds of family workshops and activities. 73,520 people have taken part in the learning and participation programme and the amazing team of 100 MACtivists have volunteered 1,000s of hours of their time to make the MAC a wonderful place to visit.

The MAC is an award winning facility that has 2 theatres (a 250 seater and a 120 seater), 3 art galleries, 1 rehearsal space, 1 dance studio, 3 education and workshop rooms, 4 offices for resident art groups, 1 restaurant and bar (NATIVE by Yellow Door), 1 artist-in-residence studio and 1 permanent artwork.
