Visit Kansas City

Kansas City is the largest city in Missouri. It is located in the western part of the state, at the junction of the Missouri and Kansas rivers. Kansas City is located in Jackson, Clay, Platte, and Cass counties.

The Kansas City metropolitan area, once known primarily for agriculture and manufacturing, has expanded its economic base to include strong growth in areas of telecommunications, banking and finance, and the service industry. A transportation hub since the 1800s, the area enjoys a national and regional prominence as a distribution and manufacturing center.

Here are some reasons why you should visit Kansas City.

Theme parks

Unleash your inner child at one of the many theme/water parks located in Kansas City! Your options range from the Spinning Dragon at Worlds of Fun to the world’s tallest water slide at Schlitterbahn. Either way, you’re in for a crazy ride.

Crown Center

There is a wide variety of activities for all ages at Crown Center. Including Lego Land, Aquarium, and featured exhibits. You can’t go wrong!

West Bottoms

One thing that is truly unique in Kansas City (and my personal favorite) in the West Bottoms. Here you can find anything from vintage clothing and refurbished furniture to food trucks and live entertainment. You’ll leave wanting more.

The city of fountains, indulge yourself in what Kansas City is known for. It is a sight to see!

Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! The Kansas City Zoo takes you on an adventure through all the continents. You’ll make some furry friends along the way.
