Visit Dock Museum, Barrow-in-Furness
The Dock Museum is situated in a unique building built within a dry dock in Barrow-in-Furness. Its exhibits are largely based around the history of the town, focusing on the shipbuilding and steelworks industries, Furness Railway and the World War II bombings of Barrow. The museum is one of the Lake District's top attractions and offers free entry with free car parking available for up to three hours.
