Visit Disneysea, Japan
Tokyo Disney Resort – The first Disney theme park to be built outside of the United States, Tokyo Disneyland opened on April 15, 1983, and has become Japan’s most popular family destination.
Owned and operated by the Oriental Land Company, Tokyo Disney Resort is home to two theme parks, including Tokyo Disney Sea, which opened in 2001, three Disney-branded hotels and the Ikspiari shopping, dining and entertainment district, which opened in 2000. Known as the Kingdom of Magic and Dreams to its Japanese guests, Tokyo Disneyland – modeled after the original Disneyland Park – recently celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2013, and Tokyo DisneySea launched the Year of Wishes celebration in 2016 for its 15th anniversary.
It features a new Mediterranean Harbor show called “Crystal Wishes Journey, a new version of “Big Band Beat” with new music and costumes, and a new colorful musical called “Out of Shadowland.”
