Learn to Play the Triangle
The triangle is a percussion instrument, and like other percussion instruments, it produces a tone by striking. A triangle can be used as a bell to provide a clear high tone, or as a drum, which can keep a beat, or both. The instrument itself has a long history, and is formed by a metal triangle played by a variety of beaters (made from metal, wood, thick, thin, etc.), and supported either by a string or metal or wooden holder that connects the triangle to and yet separates it from your hand while playing it. Learning to play the triangle is a great way to practice your percussion skills and to extend your range as a percussionist.
