Learn to Bake
The best way to learn – bake it yourself!
You’ve watched countless hours of cooking shows on TV, and you’ve been inspired by the delicious-looking recipes the hosts and contestants always seem to whip up. You’ve sampled what seems like hundreds of delicious desserts over the years – from creamy cupcakes at birthday parties, to delectable slices and muffins with afternoon tea.
If you’ve decided it’s time for you to take that next step and learn to bake for yourself, congratulations!
Taking the first step to bake
Learning to bake for the first time can seem like a challenge, but it’s a challengethat almost everyone is willing to sink their teeth into (literally!) Start simple – practising with a basic cake recipe is a great way to learn. Bake it a number of times until you’ve perfected it, then you can start adding your own variations and flavour combinations.
The best way to bake – Practise, practise, practise!
Remember – don’t give up! Practise makes perfect. We promise that your friends and family won’t mind you trying out a new recipe every few days until you finally master the right one! There always seems to be plenty of volunteers around who are more than happy to taste-test your baked goodies.
