Institute of Technology Sligo is located in the North West of Ireland and offers more than 50 undergraduate options and a wide range of postgraduate and online offerings.

With a student population of more than 6,000, the Institute is located on a 70-acre modern campus in Sligo City and offers a wide range of programmes in the Science, Engineering, Design, Business and Social Sciences disciplines.

The Institute is also a leader in the delivery of online learning and delivers 36 online programmes to students located across the world.

Students attending IT Sligo benefit from state-of-the-art sports facilities and a modern learning environment. Research and innovation are central to the Institute’s strategic priorities and its Innovation Centre is home to some 22 start up businesses.

IT Sligo is a partner in the Connacht-Ulster Alliance, a strategic alliance with Institutes of Technology in Galway-Mayo and Letterkenny. The objective of the Alliance is to achieve Technological University status in the reconfiguration of the Irish higher education sector.
