The university’s medical campus is in Rome; students do their medical practice at the teaching hospital Agostino Gemelli University Polyclinic. In Brescia, the campus is right in the midst of the historic centre of the city, and the head office is situated in the Palazzo Martinengo Cesaresco Kite.
Noteworthy alumni include post-Keynesian economist Luigi Pasinetti, politicians Amintore Fanfani, Oscar Luigi Scalfaro, banker Angelo Caloia, fashion designer Nicola Trussardi, religious leaders Paolo Sardi and Angelo Scola, and young entrepreneur Augusto Marietti.
