Wheelock Hall Farm is a family run business based in Sandbach and they have a number of activities for all ages whether they are youngster or just young at heart. It is an amazing place to spend time and be cut from every day household affairs and problems in general. You Your children will spend a great time and go back home with pleasant memories and as for sure you will have the desire to go there again.
They offer a huge variety of produce in their shops, from their home grown potatoes and other fresh fruit and vegetables, to local jams and preserves, homemade cakes and everyday store cupboard essentials. They also sell local cheeses, milk, and freshly baked bread and they have a large selection of ice cream, so you can come and enjoy a cornet and take home a tub.
Located in the farm shop is the gift shop which includes many specially chosen ranges for you to browse and choose from.
The toy shop is found alongside the gift shop and has a huge exciting choice of farm toys, books, puzzles and pocket money toys as well as being a great source of inspiration for present ideas.
They have many popular seasonal items; pumpkins for Halloween, bedding plants in the spring, Christmas trees and holly wreaths. You can also order your Christmas poultry from them, and they have a Christmas veg order service so that you can just collect your ready done shopping and go.
They serve a wide range of teas and coffees together with home-baked cakes, scones and pastries. We also offer light snacks, farmhouse breakfasts, cooked lunches, home-made chips and freshly made sandwiches with specials on the menu every week.
For the children, they offer cooked meals or children’s sandwich boxes which contain a sandwich, drink, crisps and chocolate bar.
They get lots of compliments about their chips, which are home cooked and made from their own potatoes.
They can also take bookings for afternoon teas; freshly made sandwiches, fruit scones with jam and clotted cream, a selection of cakes and of course your choice of tea or coffee.
They have both indoor and outdoor seating so you can enjoy your lunch outside when the weather is good!
The garden centre has a wonderful selection of locally grown plants, flowers and beautiful hanging baskets, complemented by all things garden related set around the courtyard. They have hand crafted rustic garden furniture along with vintage style bistro sets, arbours and benches.
There is a large outdoor play area. Children love the assault course, swings and go karts and there are smaller swings and ride on tractors for the little ones.
When the kids have finished racing around the play area they can wander around and look at the farm animals. There are pigs, sheep, goats, calves, donkeys, chickens and ducks to see and feed.
