Reasons Why You Should Go to Boracay

Have fun with the butterflies at Boracay Butterfly Gardens

Yes, Boracay is not solely about the beach and that famous white sand. Down in Bulabog Beach is the island’s own butterfly sanctuary named Boracay Butterfly Gardens and Butterfly Farm. There are about 300 species of butterflies and 100 to 150 species of plants that you’ll see in the area, and you can also take a learning tour that will help you understand the life cycle of Boracay’s butterflies!

A crazy good experience at Spider House

These days, White Beach can get too crowded and if you want to have some peace and quiet moment while in Boracay, just go to the other side of the island where you will find Diniwid Beach.

In Diniwid Beach, you can check in at Spider House. The new attraction was originally just a hotel, but now, curious tourists visit it because it has metamorphosed into something a lot more exciting. You see, to go to the hotel, you’ll have to enter a cave and move up ladders before finally reaching Spider House, a cliffside hotel with the most astounding views of the island! Oh, and don’t forget to try the bamboo elevator, too!

An enchanting time at Dead Forest

The name sounds macabre, sure, but Dead Forest is one of Boracay’s most noteworthy attractions. Located near Bulabog Beach, specifically at the tip of Barangay Balabag, Dead Forest is reminiscent of Florida’s Everglades, except for the fact that it is surrounded by mangroves—thriving in what’s said to be dead water!

Here’s something interesting about the place. Locals actually believe that the place is supernatural where unusual and special things happen during a full moon. Might as well check it out and see for yourself.

Tour around Crystal Cove

Now popular as a snorkeling paradise, Crystal Cove is a privately developed island that will give you a lot of chances to trek both the caves, and the cove, and of course, be with amazing sea creatures while snorkeling!

The best way to get there is by taking a boat from Cagban or Tambisaan Port all the way to Crystal Cove. Before going on a trek, however, feast on their famous chicken and prawn dish first. A tour guide will be there to help you understand the island more, too.

And, feel like royalty at Boracay Horse Riding Stables

You know how Queen Elizabeth loves riding horses, right?

Well, you can feel like Her Majesty yourself by checking out Boracay Horse Riding Stables, the island’s very own ranch that is guaranteed to give you an epic horse-back riding experience. You’ll find the stables just north of the post office, near the main road.
